FLORIDA LEGISLATION PASSES HISTORICAL PROPERTY TAX RELIEF AND REFORM

Help is on the way... In an email distributed by State House speaker Marco Rubio, he announced the acceptance of House Joint Resolution 3B of which will cut property taxes by almost $32 billion dollars over the next 5 years. The constitutional amendent will be voted on by Florida voters on January 29, 2008. This reform means an average reduction of 44% for resident homeowners.

However, some party are saying that the cuts are not deep enough. Do property taxes need to be cut further? Or is something better than nothing? What do you think?
