Marco Island Statistics - June 2007

As expected, we saw a bit of a slow down in pending transactions for the month of June 2007. June and July are traditional slow months for pending sales. However, we can still see a silver lining in last month's numbers.

1. Inventory continues to drop
2. New listing are significantly lower than last month or June of last year
3. Single family homes sales and dollar volumes are higher
4. Total sales volume is higher that last month and June of last year

To top it off, buyer activity has increased in the last 2 weeks. So, although, summer months are typically slow for pending/closed sales, we are positioned to have a good August. Historically, the best month of summer for real estate pending sales.
